Itchy itchy itchy
I am sssssssooooo ITCHY and I dont know why. Just started feeling this way and its driving me insane. Read about it online, says its normal and goes away after delivery. Well I still have 2months to go and I dont know if I can take it. I am using cocoa butter, pasting it practically all over me but it doesnt seem to be helping. Have any of you ladies experienced this what did you do to get some relief? What did the OB say about it? was there any special prescriptions that I need to know about? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

During all my pregnancies my skin became very sensitive and itchy. It was worse when i was preggo with my daughter. Check with your OB, but my OB told me to use Benadryl or hydrocortisone cream and it did help. Always check with your OB first because they are all different. Once i got it under control it really doesn't bother me anymore. Hope it gets better.

Are you just generally itchy (like maybe dry skin), or does it look like you have some sort of rash? My friend is pregnant (just 5 weeks behind me), and she has PUPPP. I feel so bad for her because she itches so much all over her abdomen that she can't even wer a shirt - the fabric on her stomach makes her want to rip her skin off. She says cool compresses/ice packs help, and hydrocortisone (recommended by her OB as a safe option) is the only thing that helps enough for her to wear a shirt when needed.
there is no vissible rash just feel like someone poured itching powder all over me hands, legs, back but strangely not my belly its wierd My OB said to keep using cocoa butter but use it as soon as I get out of the tub not to wait till my skin was dry. It gets worse at night then I cant stop scratching. I feel for your friend, I go buck naked when I am at home because my clothes drive me crazy too but I manage to wear clothes when out of the house. My husband gets mad at me cause I am either constantly scratching or asking him to scratch my back. But he loves me lol so he does it anyway.
